Simulation Box II (Obey) is interfering the innate connection between mind and hand. It questions seemingly neutral technology by creating interaction, which is not under viewer´s control.
A virtual hand, modelled according artist´s right hand, appears in the screen when viewer places his hand on top of the black sensor box. But the virtual hand is only partially under viewer´s control. The virtual fingers resist the real hand and clench into a fist. By repelling and refusing to obey, inverse interaction dictates rules for human behaviour in virtual reality.
