Sincere Lies was experimental exhibition project produced together with Sinebrychoff Art Museum, a museum specialized in old art in Helsinki. The selected paintings of the museum collection were illuminated with video projections. Each projection acted as a pair to the painting, making them a couple from different time levels. The paintings chosen for the exhibition were the misfits of the collection, bad copies by unknown painters, damaged or weird, unfit to the official art history timeline. With this exhibition they had a chance to be exhibited, some for the first time in 100 years.
